2500 College Hill Drive
YWCA will host the Statewide Silent Witness Ceremony to recognize and remember the impact of gender based violence on communities in Wyoming.
The event will be hosted at Western Wyoming Community College on October 9th starting at 10am and ending at 12:30 with a reception in the College Atrium. Mark your calendars to attend.
We will be remembering the over 70 victims who have died since 1985 as a result of domestic violence. Each name will be read in their honor. We will have speakers talking about the project and the impact of domestic violence on our communities. Lynnette Grey Bull will be the Keynote speaker talking about the impact of this violence in tribal communities and the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls movement.
Please check back as we get closer to the date for updates about the event.
