Positions at the YWCA
Center for Families and Children:
All jobs require the employee to:
- Be one year removed from a domestic violence or sexual assault situation.
- Be age 25 or older (for insurance purposes)
- Have never had an Order of Protection issued against them or engaged in domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or child neglect/endangerment
- Be available to take on-call shifts each month
- Pass a drug screen
Administrative Assistant – 30 college credits or 1 year related experience
Direct Service Advocate – Assoc. degree and 1 year experience, or 3 years relevant experience.
Shelter Coordinator – High School Graduate
Child Care:
All jobs require the employee to:
- Pass a criminal finger-print background check
- Pass a central registry child abuse background check
- Pass a drug screen
Child Care Aide – No experience needed.
Child Care Assistant Teacher– 1 year child care experience or 1 year of college credit in childhood education.
Child Care Teacher – 2 years child care experience, or 2 years in childhood education, or Associate degree in related field.
