Positions at the YWCA

Center for Families and Children:

All jobs require the employee to:

  • Be one year removed from a domestic violence or sexual assault situation.
  • Be age 25 or older (for insurance purposes)
  • Have never had an Order of Protection issued against them or engaged in domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or child neglect/endangerment
  • Be available to take on-call shifts each month
  • Pass a drug screen

Administrative Assistant – 30 college credits or 1 year related experience
Direct Service Advocate – Assoc. degree and 1 year experience, or 3 years relevant experience.
Shelter Coordinator – High School Graduate

Child Care:

All jobs require the employee to:

  • Pass a criminal finger-print background check
  • Pass a central registry child abuse background check
  • Pass a drug screen

Child Care Aide – No experience needed.
Child Care Assistant Teacher– 1 year child care experience or 1 year of college credit in childhood education.
Child Care Teacher – 2 years child care experience, or 2 years in childhood education, or Associate degree in related field.
